Culinary Fight Club put down another great fight with the Sips and Bits edition!
What can a professional Chef and mixologist whip up with Woodford Reserve Bourbon??
Talk about scrumptious foodie samplings with top notch cocktails. On December 21st I was invited to attend the conclusion of the Culinary Fight Club’s 2017 Competitions!
Culinary Fight Club hosts live cooking competitions. No two events are the same. The teams of cooks race for 45 seconds to choose 15 ingredients from the pantry of food provided by Reinhart Foodservice.
Once the ingredients are collected, each team has 60 minutes to construct a dish that depicts their take on this month’s theme sip and bite. Once the timer hit 60 minutes, the audience members and judges sample and vote on a winning dish.
The most amazing part about Culinary Fight Club is they partnered with the non-profit Fight2Feed, which normally 20% of proceeds are donated but in December 100% of ticket sales are donated. This is an organization that partners with top restaurants and food trucks to provide service and support or hungry friends.
AND THE WINNER IS …….
Congratulations to Chef Stefano Roman of PR Italian Bistro for winning both the tasters’s choice and judges vote with his pork loin and Cinnamon Apple Cocktail.
